Christmas cards

I recently created a bunch of Christmas cards to sell, we are a few people at work who sell or create different things in our spare time. I decided to put up the jewelry I made a few years ago and some cards, and of course, my angels!

Here are all the cards I created for this, a total of 40 cards, that’s about four times more than I use to create for all my friends and family but it was great. It has been too long since I got myself so caught up in doing something I like. I spent two days just crafting (more or less). And I got to use my stash, that’s the best part!
I’ll put the left over cards up for sale in my etsy shop for next year.

Yet another birthday card

Last Friday my oldest cousin turned 25 and we were invited to celebrate yesterday. I made a card early in the morning since I seem to be unable to sleep longer than to 7 am on weekends.

I decided to take the opportunity to enter a competition too, it always helps with some inspiration and the current challenge at Mojo Monday was just perfect!

I thought I was going to make a very masculine card but it seems to be quite a challenge for me. I do however love the color combinations and the stamp is adorable (never used it before)!

A co-created birthday card

My friend Malin and I made a card together for Jennie on her birthday. Malin made the base of the card and I decorated it. It wasn’t very easy but it ended up quite ok and Jennie was very happy. She also got the crafting journal from dylusions.

Birthday card for a competition

So my oldest brother just turned 25 and I had to make him a card, of course! I also took the opportunity to enter a challenge at Svensk scrapbooking. I didn’t win but I was happy anyway! I got to use my stash and my new paper pad! Aand my Washi tape, yay!

Wedding card

One of my old friends from high school got married a few weeks ago and I made them a card to congratulate.

I actually made a real full Windsor knot with the ribbon (which color matches the groom’s real tie)

I used my pearl glimmer mist spray (which I use too rarely, it’s gorgeous)

Quite satisfied with the result after a few other ideas and experiments. Thanks Google for the inspiration!

Leon’s third birthday card

My cousin Leon turned three a few days ago and he wanted a white dress for a princess costume. He was very certain with the looks of the dress, no puffy cupcake-styled dress! It was supposed to be simple with some pearls and a necklace. So I made him a card, found a dress (wish I’ve had time to sew one for him instead) and pimped it a bit. I think he liked the dress but he did look somewhat disappointed when he opened the present. We asked him to put it on with the tiara and all and he did, he’s such a sweet boy! Now I have the perfect picture for his graduation day, he he. Just another 15 years to go!

Here’s the card and the dress:

I decided to make an easel card for the Alota Rubber Stamps’ challenge #81 and since the card is for a young boy I decided to enter Going Buggy’s April challenge which was  to make a card for a child, any age, too!
The card was easy to start with, I had to have Lightning McQueen on it since it’s his favorite from Cars! The letters are just a lot with all the colors but it turned out OK and I got an opportunity to use them!
